Two-time Rugby World Cup-winning Springbok fly-half Handré Pollard and his wife, Marise, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl.

“And just like that, our world has changed again. Isabella Tanya Pollard, you are so loved,” the couple shared as they introduced their new bundle of joy.

The Pollards first announced their pregnancy in April, saying, “Our little family is growing. Hunter is going to be a big brother in October, and we are beyond excited. God is so good.”

Their firstborn, Hunter, arrived on 25 April 2024, a moment they described as their “biggest blessing and greatest love.”

Handré and Marise have been married for eight years. Marking their seventh wedding anniversary, Handré called their journey together “the most amazing seven years and counting.”

“Over the last 12 months, the strength, courage and love in your heart have been the foundation of our little family,” he wrote. “I love you more than you will ever know, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us. Love you, baba.”

In June this year, the couple celebrated 12 years together, with Marise posting, “12 years with you, and I love you more than ever.”
