Marise Pollard, the wife of Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard, penned a sweet tribute to their baby girl as she turned six months old on 20 April.

“Half a year of you, babygirl 🤍. You showed up in the chaos and just incurred as if you were always part of us. You changed our rhythm in the most beautiful way. Our days are fuller, louder and softer all at the same time,” she wrote.
“You came and changed everything. My weather has come to change. You are the kindest, softest little girl and it is the greatest privilege to be able to be your mommy, dearest Bells 🤍,” she continued.
HANDRE AND MARISE POLLARD ARE PARENTS OF TWO
Handre and Marise were parents of two under two. In April 2024, the pair welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Hunter Andre Pollard. The pair welcomed their second child, Isabella Tanya Pollard in October 2025. Hunter turned two today (25 April). So, the pair are no longer parents of two under two.
Handre and Marise have been together for over 13 years. The pair connected through Facebook back in 2012. A few years later, Handre and Marise tied the knot at Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands in 2017 and have been happily married since!
The couple aren’t the only Springboks who had babies in 2024 and 2025. Faf de Klerk and his wife Mine welcomed their first child in February 2025, a baby girl named Remi-Re. The pair welcomed their second child in November 2025, also a baby girl named Yuke.Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth and his wife and Anlia welcomed their first baby in January 2024. In October 2025, they welcomed their second baby.
Springbok Edwill van der Merwe and his wife, Nadine welcomed their first child in November 2025.
