Umshado lento! Thato and Gash1 didn’t only find fame at the Big Brother Mzansi house but they also found love.

Thato ‘Immaculate’ Mokoena and Gashwan ‘Gash1’ Mthombeni, who met on Mzansi Magic’s reality TV show Big Brother Mzansi, confirmed their marriage to the Daily Sun.

The dancer and reality TV star, Gash1 fell in love near the end of Big Brother Mzansi 2022, their love began like a joke, and are now married. After Thato was evicted from the house we all thought that was going to be the end but their love story continued.

Gash1 finished second to this year’s winner, Mphowadimo and after he left the house their relationship constantly topped the twitter trends, it has since been dubbed as Tash1.

They gained popularity on social media. The cherry on top was after the show when they introduced their families. Now that move alone sparked engagement rumours.

Last week, the couple announced on social media that they took a big step in their relationship and hinted at getting married. “All I can reveal is that the two families have come together. And yes, I am Thato Mthombeni.”

Thato also said that she will continue to use her name until the process of becoming a wife is completed. “Becoming a Mrs takes time. There are processes. It’s a journey and we’ve taken the first step.”

“For now, I’ll be using my two names, Thato Immaculate. In fact, I’ve been using those names and not my surname on social media because I knew my surname would change.”
