GTA 6 Pre-Orders Open on 25 June

GTA 6 pre-orders will open on 25 June 2026, giving fans their first official chance to reserve Rockstar Games’ long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI.

The pre-order window comes ahead of the game’s planned release on 19 November 2026. Rockstar confirmed the November date after previously delaying the title, saying the extra time would help the studio finish the game “with the level of polish” players expect.

GTA 6 Pre-orders Begin Next Week

According to MyBroadband, Take-Two Interactive Software will open GTA 6 pre-orders on digital storefronts and at select retailers from 25 June.

Gaming outlets including Push Square and Video Games Chronicle also reported that Rockstar has confirmed the pre-order date. The company also revealed the game’s official cover art as the marketing campaign builds before launch.

The announcement gives fans a clearer timeline after months of speculation about when orders would begin. However, Rockstar has not yet confirmed South African pricing, editions, or whether local retailers will offer special packages.

November Launch Remains The Focus

Rockstar Games said Grand Theft Auto VI remains set for release on Thursday, 19 November 2026. The studio announced that date in November 2025 after moving the game from its earlier window.

The game will arrive more than a decade after Grand Theft Auto V, which first launched in 2013. According to recent industry reports citing Take-Two results, GTA V has sold more than 225 million copies worldwide, making the next release one of the most watched launches in gaming.

As a result, GTA 6 pre-orders will likely draw strong demand from console players. Current reports say the game is expected on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, while Rockstar has not announced a PC launch date.

Price and Retailer Details Still Unclear

MyBroadband reported that fans have speculated about whether Grand Theft Auto VI could cost more than $70. But no official price has been announced by Rockstar or Take-Two.

That means South African buyers should wait for confirmed local listings before comparing prices. Digital storefronts and selected retailers are expected to provide more details when GTA 6 pre-orders go live on 25 June.

For now, the key dates are clear. GTA 6 pre-orders open on 25 June 2026, and Rockstar’s current launch date remains 19 November 2026.
