South African influencer Grace Mondlana is once again at the centre of online scrutiny after sharing a video of herself vacating her apartment.

On 28 February 2026, the 25-year-old content creator posted footage of her belongings being loaded onto a moving truck as she prepared to leave her upscale Centurion apartment.

In her caption, Grace reflected on the emotional process of starting over and embracing change.

“Always a bittersweet moment moving out, no matter how many times I’ve done it before, but I’ll do it again & again to suit my personal goals,” she wrote.

While many followers congratulated her on what they believed was a step forward, others questioned the circumstances surrounding her departure.

Controversial blogger Musa Khawula weighed in, alleging that Grace had previously led supporters to believe she had purchased the apartment.

“Grace Mondlana reveals that she’s moving out of her apartment after dubbing and convincing her lil followers that she has purchased the apartment,” he claimed.

The allegations quickly gained traction, with critics revisiting past TikTok content where Grace allegedly referenced buying the unit.

Some online commentators argued that moving out contradicted earlier suggestions that she owned the space, pointing out that homeowners typically don’t “move out” of what they consider a long-term asset.

However, her loyal supporters pushed back, defending her in the comments and insisting that circumstances can change.

According to Grace, the move followed her decision to revoke an offer to purchase the unit, a detail that has done little to quiet the debate.
