Grace Mondlana dragged online for scolding guests at her lavish year-end party

South African influencer Grace Mondlana has once again found herself at the centre of social media controversy.

The content creator recently hosted an extravagant year-end party that drew the attention of fans and fellow influencers, but not for the right reasons.

What was meant to be a night of celebration quickly turned awkward after clips from the event began circulating online.

In one viral moment, Grace was seen addressing her guests in a stern tone after repeatedly asking them to quiet down during her speech.

In the video, Grace calls out one of her attendees, a fellow creator named Lesedi, saying, “Lesedi, what is my profession?” When others tried to answer for him, she snapped back, “I said Lesedi,” in a tone that many described as condescending — almost like a teacher reprimanding a student.

The moment instantly divided the internet. Some viewers found the scene humorous, while others accused Grace of embarrassing her guests and displaying “mean girl” energy at her own event.

Grace’s party, held on Saturday, 8 November 2025, was attended by several well-known faces, including Dominic Zaca, Titus “Mologadi” Mokou, Tirelo Kale, Mich Mazibuko, Cyan Boujee, Pabi Cooper, and Njelic, who reportedly lit up the event with electrifying performances.

However, Grace’s behaviour quickly overshadowed the star-studded festivities.

This isn’t the first time the influencer has faced backlash.

Earlier in 2025, she made headlines following her ex-boyfriend’s death, when her actions around the funeral stirred mixed reactions online.

Despite the criticism, Lesedi later reacted to the incident with humour on TikTok, showing no hard feelings and laughing off Grace’s remarks.

Meanwhile, social media users continue to debate her conduct, with many labelling it unnecessary and disrespectful.
