Gospel Sensation Dumi Mkokstad Accused Of Sleeping With Other Men To Get Rich

Award-winning gospel musician Dumi Mkokstad is being accused of sleeping with other men to get rich.

The damning allegations were levelled against him by event organiser Aviwe Gqomfo. The two are engaged in a bitter war of words over who must be voted on the Ukhozi FM song of the year.

Gqomfo mentioned Mkokstad’s name while urging people to vote for another gospel sensation, Betusile Mcinga.

Aviwe Gqomfo also claimed that Dumi Mkokstad never went to the mountain for initiation as per the Xhosa culture. The post with these damning allegations received over 700 comments before Gqomfo deleted it.

When contacted for a comment about the allegations he levelled against Mkokstad, Gqomfo feigned ignorance before hanging up the phone. He said:

I don’t know what you are talking about. I really don’t know

On the other hand, Dumi Mkokstad acknowledged he had seen the post where Gqomfo had accused him of sleeping with other men to get rich. He added that he had contacted his lawyer Thabani Mpungose as he is taking legal action against Gqomfo for defamation of character.

The Mbize hitmaker hinted that he is aware of why Gqomfo made the allegations but refused to give any further comment as he is now pursuing the matter legally.

“I don’t want to comment further on the matter as I am taking legal action against Gqomfo. I am aware of the allegations he made against me through his Facebook page. It’s long story to explain why he made those allegations. My lawyer will deal with him,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dumi Mkokstad is urging people to vote for his song Betusile on Ukhozi FM.
