Sandton police are investigating a case of common assault against Gomora actor Moshe Ndiki after he allegedly moered controversial blogger, Musa Khawula.

The two put Mzansi on pause on Monday, 22 August, after the news of them allegedly fighting broke on social media.

Musa is known for exposing celebrities on his Twitter page, and he had tweeted about Moshe a few hours before the altercation.

Musa said Moshe doesn’t own the home he stays in and spoke about his marriage to ex-husband, Phelo Bala.

In response to the tweet, Moshe shared his title deed and said Musa is lying.

A few hours later, Musa shared the news on Twitter, saying Moshe attacked him in Sunninghill, Joburg.

He then posted a series of tweets explaining what happened.

He claimed that Moshe followed him to the location.

“I think his friends told him where I was. I was at the venue and then I left.

“I went back after 15 to 20 minutes. I ordered a cocktail and sat down. Within five minutes, he came in and beat me,” he said.

“I am a victim. I was sitting in a club, minding my own business and that talentless b***h came and jumped me,” he said.

Musa also claimed to have gone to the hospital after the incident.

“I am at the hospital right now. I understand how serious this is,” he said.

He also issued a warning to Moshe.

“That b***h better listen and know that he messed with the wrong b***h. I’m also for the streets. If you want to fight, we can take it to the streets,” he said.

The SunTeam contacted Moshe several times, and he said he was busy.

“Oh, you are talking about that guy, Musa. I can’t talk right now. I am held up,” he said.

Meanwhile, Musa said he had said enough on Twitter.

“I have given enough on my timeline. I have spoken about what happened on my social media,” he said.

According to a police report in our possession, Musa said Moshe punched him.

The report said: “The complainant alleged that he was at the address mentioned above with the manager of the lounge by the mane of Khomotso, then a guy by the name of Moshe Ndiki showed up from behind and asked him what he wrote about him. While he was trying to figure it out, he punched him with a fist, and he fell on the floor.”

Gauteng police spokeswoman Colonel Dimakatso Sello confirmed that a case has been opened.

“That is a common assault case, and no one has been arrested yet,” she said.
