Controversial former sangoma Gogo Skhotheni took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy.

Captioned: “From heartbreak to hope… From loss to life… My rainbow baby,” Skhotheni’s beautiful gallery shows off her growing bump.

Skhotheni, whose real name is Tumi Motsoeni Shange, is the mother of daughter Liyana. She lost her son, Monde Shange Jr., at the age of 16 months in 2024. He was born with no oesophagus.

She is married to Monde Shange.

Not one to be too shy to share her life with her audience, Skhotheni grew in popularity when she exposed South Africa to her life as a young sangoma on the reality show iZangoma Zodumo.

She later showed the drama of her personal life, notably when she sought a second husband on her self-titled reality show.

She also ventured into the podcast space, with The Venting Podcast, where she interviewed some of the most controversial characters in South African pop culture, like Wandi Ndlovu and Musa Mseleku’s eldest son, Mpumelelo Mseleku.

Skhotheni later denounced her sangoma status, opting to become a born-again Christian who actively preaches in church.
