Matchday three of the Motsepe Foundation Championship was completed on Wednesday with five games played and producing 16 goals on Wednesday afternoon.
Former DStv Premiership participants Baroka welcomed winless Pretoria Callies at Global stadium.
Bakgakga started the game like a house on fire and that saw them going to halftime with a 2-0 lead. Second half Callies pulled one back but Baroka made it three just 10 minutes before the end of the game to make it 3-1.
It was a smooth day in Limpopo province as Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila went into the second stanza with a 3-0 lead against struggling Platinum City Rovers.
Thabiso Nkoana scored a brace then Moeketsi Sekola made it in three just before halftime. Mthokozisi Kunene made it 4-0 in the second half, two minutes before the game City scored their first goal of the campaign but that wasn’t enough as they suffered their third consecutive defeat by 4-1.

Shaun Bartlett’s side we caught napping in the opening minutes of the game courtesy of Khomotso Marebane, with just six minutes before the end of the first half two quick goals from Nhlanhla Zwane and Delano Abrahams made things more worst for Urban Warriors.
AmaTuks took the foot off the paddle as Spurs pulled one back from the penalty spot and quickly made in two with minutes left but Tuks did hold on to claim their first win of the season by a 3-2 victory.
Uthongathi missed a penalty in the 19th minute but four minutes later they managed to find the back of the net. Going to the break leading Hungry Lions by 1-0. The Cane Cutters had to keep safe what they have as they hold on to their first-half goal. The game ended 1-0.
Newcomers La Masia battled with Black Leopards at Malamulele stadium but the task was too big for the new boys as they suffered a 1-0 defeat. Second La Masia tried to hold fight but experienced Lidoda Duvha managed to hold on for a 1-0 victory.
