After Makhadzi asked South Africans to help fill seats in her One Woman Show on 21 December, Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie quickly jumped in to help.

He said he’d buy 200 tickets to give away to fans.

“I will be there and I will buy 200 tickets for those that want to accompany me to Peter Mokaba Stadium to see one of our biggest stars in the world,” McKenzie wrote, adding fire emojis.

Makhadzi on X asked why it would take almost two years to fill up the stadium, which can seat 46,000 people but Chris Brown sold out FNB stadium’s 94,736 seats in hours.

“South Africa KE MOVIE SO NNA I must take years to sell out Peter Mokaba Stadium . Chris brown, lamofa 2 hours. Yoo lenalede tsele. Gale bona batho lena lebo hyper nyana Shem. Rekang di tickets before kella,” she wrote.

In September, Limpopo’s Makhadzi said sorry after her “Jealous Down” video upset deaf viewers.
