Gallants Secure Downs Winger & New Defender
Marumo Gallants have completed the signings of Pule Maraisane and Olivier Toure from Mamelodi Sundowns and ASEC Mimosas respectively.
As reported by iDiski Times last week, Maraisane has completed a move to Romain Folz’ side after impressing within his training assessment this month.
The 27-year-old winger will now look to establish himself in the DStv Premiership with Gallants who are also competing in the CAF Confederation Cup this season.
“He was playing in Europe and came back to South Africa and did well at All Stars, but he didn’t get much game time at Sundowns,” his representative Eugene Mbatha of Ambassadors Sport Management confirmed to iDiski Times.
“So now he’s joined Marumo Gallants on a season-long loan hoping to get more opportunities, they will be playing in Africa which will give him further exposure before his contract expires at the end of the season.”
Meanwhile, Toure arrives with experience in the competition and the Champions League, having featured for Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas.
