Gallants Confirm Chivaviro’s Next Move

Marumo Gallants have confirmed the club has agreed to transfer Ranga Chivaviro to Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Chivaviro was subject to an intense transfer saga over the last month involving Richards Bay, Gallants, Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

Concrete offers from Young Africans, Future FC, Al Akdhar and Saudi Arabia were also forthcoming but the 30-year-old was set on a move to Amakhosi.

The club has now confirmed the official move to the Soweto giants for the striker who netted 17 goals across all competitions.

Following their relegation from the DStv Premiership, Katlego Otladisa has joined Orlando Pirates, Ismeal Toure to Stellenbosch and Lesiba Nku joined Mamelodi Sundowns.

A mass exodus for the club that reached the semi-finals of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup.
