Scottish Premier League side Livingston are in talks with DStv Premiership side TS Galaxy over a potential move of Aphelele Teto.
Teto came through the club’s development and he was brought into the senior side in March 2022. The 20-year-old caught the eyes of the country with his technical ability and ease with which he glided past opponents.
It was unfortunate that a reported fall-out with head coach Sead Ramovic saw him being demoted to the DStv Diski Challenge in the middle of 2022/23 season after only making 12 appearances in all competitions in the senior side.
It has reached iDiski Times that Scottish Premiership side Livingston FC showed interest in the youngster after spotting him during their mid-season foray into Europe.
While it was suggested that the deal was called off after failing to reach an agreement on personal terms, this website understands talks remain ongoing.
Livingston finished the season in seventh place in the SPL and then finished second in the Premiership relegation round to retain their status.
Galaxy have already lost Given Msimango to Kaizer Chiefs, Tshegofatso Nyama to Cape Town City, Melusi Buthelezi to Orlando Pirates and they are likely to lose Teto as well.
