Gabuza Snapped With New Agent

SuperSport United striker Thamsanqa Gabuza has landed a new agent at the age of 35 as he shows no signs of slowing down.

The veteran forward has been on the periphery of the SuperSport squad this season under Gavin Hunt and at one point, even played as a center-back in their Nedbank Cup exit at the hands of Dondol Stars.

A January move to Stellenbosch fell through in the final week of the January transfer window but since then he’s featured in six of SuperSport’s last seven league games.

Gabuza once stated Orlando Pirates Chairman Irvin Khoza was his ‘agent’ that secured his move to Matsatsansa but he’s now teamed up with Pro Sports International, owned by Mike Makaab.

The South African super agent holds some of the most high-profile clients in the country and it appears his latest move signals his intention of continuing his career for a while longer.

Gabuza has scored 22 goals and registered seven assists in 113 games for the Tshwane-based outfit who are chasing second place at a CAF Champions League spot this season.
