Kaizer Chiefs FC are undoubtedly one of the biggest brands on the African continent.

Much of its success is thanks to club boss Kaizer Motaung’s daughter Jessica.

Jessica Motaung is currently the club’s Commercial and Marketing Director, an area Kaizer Chiefs thrive in.

And now, her son has taken his own steps towards building a future in football!

Kaizer Chiefs boss’ son begins coaching journey

Jessica Motaung’s son, Kenneth Simmons has taken his first steps towards becoming a professional coach.

Simmons, a product of the Amakhosi academy, has set out to obtain his SAFA C coaching licence according to FARPost.

“The list of coaches also includes Chiefs academy player Kenneth Simmons. Simmons has recently been serving as a coaching intern in the Amakhosi academy,” the publication reported.

“He was part of the Chiefs side that retained the Under-17 Gauteng Development League Cup in 2023.”

While there’s still a long way to go for bra Kaizer Motaung’s grandson, he’ll undoubtedly be hoping his path leads him to coaching the mighty Kaizer Chiefs.

The youngster is rumoured to be honing his craft in the Amakhosi academy at present.

“I’m excited for him, he loves the sport, he is passionate about football and I’ve watched him, he really loves it. It’s not something I’ve imposed,” Kaizer Chiefs boss Jessica Motaung said about her son back in 2023, as quoted by IDiski Times.

“To see him, aerially amazing, he loves the game. He has a very, very intellectual brain for football, from an early age. It’s something we all were surprised about.”
