Orlando Pirates have been one of the busiest teams in the transfer market, signing 12 players.

The Buccaneers have also released 16 players either on loan or on a permanent transfer. Under new head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, the Sea Robbers have looked different from a team that finished in the semi-final of the CAF Champions League last season.

Under the new coach, Pirates have signed the likes of Oswin Appollis, Kamogelo Sebelebele and Sipho Mbule, who have all impressed so far.

Who are the Orlando Pirates players that left?

A total of 16 players have left, with four of them currently on loan.

Here’s a full list of all the departed players: Innocent Maela, Miguel Timm (Sekhukhune United), Paseka Mako (Kaizer Chiefs), Thabiso Monyane (Kaizer Chiefs), Phillip Ndlondlo, Monnapule Saleng (Orbit College on loan), Mohau Nkota (Al Ettifaq), Zakhele Lepasa (Unattached), Yanga Madiba (Orbit College), Thuso Molekeki (Orbit College), Azola Tshobeni (Chippa United), Goodman Mosele (Chippa United, loan), Abdoulaye S Mariko (Chippa United), Karim Kimvuidi (SC Ashdod, Israel on loan), Kabelo Kgositsile (Baroka FC on loan) and Katlego Otladisa.

Orlando Pirates are in action this weekend against Stellenbosch in the final of the MTN8 to be played at the Mbombela Stadium. The Buccaneers have won the competition three consecutive times and are favourites to lift the trophy once more.

Can Pirates reign supreme on Saturday in the MTN8?
