Free State Man In Custody For Raping A 7-Year-Old Deaf Boy
On Tuesday, a 34-year-old resident of Hlohlolwane in the Free State was apprehended for the sexual assault of a 7-year-old deaf boy.
The child, upon confiding in his mother, prompted her to inform the authorities.

According to Warrant Officer Mmako Mophiring, a spokesperson for the police, the man invited the boy to his residence.
Allegedly, upon the boy’s arrival, the man proceeded to sexually assault him, using a stick to inflict injury to his ear.
Afterwards, the boy returned to his home, where his mother noticed blood coming from his injured ear and from his backside. Immediately, they rushed him to a local hospital for immediate medical attention.

Currently, the Ficksburg Family, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit are conducting an investigation into this distressing incident of rape.
The accused individual is scheduled to make an appearance in the Ladybrand Magistrate’s Court on Monday to face the charges against him.
