Talented Rhythm City actor Brian ‘Bruno’ Majola has passed away at age 36. According to Drum, his cause of death is yet to be confirmed by his family.
A family friend confirmed the news to the publication saying they will compile a cause of death once all the details are made available to them.
“I am not okay at all. I need to meet up with the family in order for us to put a statement together and send all the necessary information, but I can confirm that he has passed on,” said the relative.
His friend Pardon Makamu said, “I haven’t gotten the full details of what happened.”
Bruno played Bongani Khumalo on Rhythm City.
Another apparent close source told Sunday World that he was found by his girlfriend who was allegedly taken in for questioning.
“He was found by his girlfriend who alerted his family. They are suspecting suicide or that there could possibly have been some foul play. But I can’t confirm it as yet. We are all processing the news and we will hear from the police and his family,”
the source was quoted as saying.
This comes days after another Rhythm City actor Mncedisi Shabangu passed away. The 53-year-old is a SAFTA winning Actor, Playwright and Theatre Director.

“It is with great sadness to announce that the Shabangu family informs you of the sudden passing of Mncedisi Baldwin Shabangu,” said he family statement.
“He passed away in the early hours of this morning. The family appreciates all messages and requests privacy at this difficult time’”

“It is with great sadness that the family wishes to confirm the passing of Tokollo ‘Magesh’ Tshabalala. Magesh, as he was affectionately known, passed away this morning as a result of an epileptic seizure. The family requests for privacy during this difficult period,” reads part of the statement.
His group members reportedly are shattered by his death, Refiloe, their manager told Daily Sun, “This is like losing a sibling and this is why they are not speaking to the media right now. They are going through a lot.
“Magesh was a genuinely good human being. He had a good heart. Anybody who knew him, loved him. Like anybody else, he was perfectly imperfect. Even if you argued, at the end of the day, you knew that he cares for you and has your back. We’ll also miss his sense of humour.”
