Kea Masango was famous for her role in Rhythm City, where she played the role of Zinhle, the daughter of Khulekani and Nandi. In the drama series, she played the high scholar who ran into a lot of trouble because his father was a criminal and womanizer. At one point, she even dated her brother, not knowing they were related until her aunt, who also had an affair with her father, stopped them.

After Rhythm City was cancelled, the show’s actors found themselves out of jobs and looking to join other productions. Some were lucky enough to land jobs soon after they stopped working with the show, but Kea has not gotten an acting gig since she left the show. However, her fate has changed this year, and she has been announced as part of the cast of Ayeye Stripped alongside actress Rosemary Zimu.

After eight years since Ayeye’s first season aired, it has returned to the screens with a second season called Ayeye Stripped. In this series, Zimu takes on the role of Zoleka, a mother to a young boy who is also a side chick to a rich man. Her baby daddy collapses and dies, and his wife comes to take everything she owns, from her furniture and house to her car. She is left broke and has to find a way to fund her son’s education and her lifestyle.

Zoleka turned into a Cam girl to raise money after watching a podcast of a girl who was making a killing being a cam girl. Kea Masango takes on the role of the deceased’s daughter from his marriage with his legal wife. She has to soothe her little brother, who only found out at the funeral that they had another brother and was questioning his dead father’s whole life.

Her on-screen character is Ntsiki, and she is the oldest child of the Mguyo family; she tries to make her little brother feel involved and part of the family despite her brother Vuyo’s hostility towards the younger child. Her fans have shown her so much support in her new role after being out of work for a long time. She even went public with her boyfriend even though she has deleted those posts on her socials now.
