Former IPID boss Robert McBride says he has suffered immensely following investigations into a case involving former acting national police commissioner Kgomotso Phahlane in 2016. Mcbride says his future job prospects were also threatened.

The NPA nabbed high-ranking police officials in connection with a R54-million police tender from 2016. They are appearing in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Wednesday.
