Barely a week after being deemed excess to requirements by Dynamos in Zimbabwe, former University of Pretoria defender Partson Jaure has found a new club.
Jaure signed for newly promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Simba Bhora who are on a massive recruitment scheme in an attempt to assemble a squad strong enough to last the distance in the elite league.
Simba Bhora who are based in the mining town of Shamva were quick to pounce on Jaure for his services as he was also being linked to Manica Diamonds and Highlanders.
FARPost is reliably informed that the veteran centre-back signed a one year contract with the PSL newboys ahead of the new season pencilled to start in February.
PATRSON JAURE TO BE UNVEILED IN DUE TIME
“He is our player now but we will make the announcement soon. For now we have outstanding issues with some of the old players. Once all the issues are ironed out, an unveiling will be done,” a source said.
The 32-year-old was cut into the wilderness together with nine other players who were in Dynamos ranks.
Some of the players that were released include the West African quartet of Sylvester Appiah, Albert Eonde, Alex Orotomal and Martin Ofori.
Godknows Murwira, Keith Murera, Ralph Kawondera are some of the local big names that were released.
Meanwhile Ngezi Platinum has opted to part ways with former Bidvest Wits midfielder Denver Mukamba after two years at the club.
The decision to offload Mukamba comes as no suprise after he clashed with head coach Takesure Chiragwi last season.
Mukamba was brought to the ambitious team by Black Leopards senior coach Rodwell Dhlakama.
However Dhlakama’s departure left Zimbabwe’s 2012 Soccer Star in the cold as he fell out of favour, owing to his bad off the field behavior.
