The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FCSA) is a regulatory body for financial institutions in South Africa and the successor agency to South Africa’s Financial Services Board. FCSA is in charge of regulating the conduct of financial institutions, financial services, and financial products, including banks, insurance companies, retirement funds, and market infrastructures licensed in accordance with a financial sector law.
Market conduct regulation and supervision are the responsibilities of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). By promoting the fair treatment of financial customers by financial institutions and providing educational resources to financial customers, the FSCA aims to support and enhance the integrity and efficiency of the financial markets. In addition, the FSCA will help to maintain financial stability.
Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) aims to empower young graduates with a thorough understanding of, skills related to, and exposure to the regulation and supervision in the economy in general, as well as their role in the market.
The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) Internship programme is specifically designed and tailored to develop a pipeline of semi-skilled employees and financial analysts competent for the company and the country to enhance the integrity of the financial markets and protect the financial customers through the promotion of fair treatment while also providing financial education to the financial customer and maintaining the financial stability.
Programme overview
The candidates selected for this internship programme will have the opportunity to get trained under the guidance of a dedicated mentor.
Each intern is assigned to a specific division, in accordance with their qualifications and career objectives, so they can experience a variety of roles during their training period (1- year) based on their competency.
A number of soft skill and technical training programs are also available to interns as part of their programme.

Note: The location of this internship programme is Pretoria, Gauteng in South Africa.
