  • A deadly crash on the N3 involving a truck and a minibus taxi has claimed four lives.
  • Emergency crews are on site, and motorists heading from KwaZulu-Natal to Gauteng are urged to drive cautiously.
  • This tragedy follows another recent fatal accident that killed six people, including five family members.

A fatal car accident has left four people dead in another horrific crash involving a truck and a minibus taxi on the N3. 

The accident occurred on Saturday morning, 23 August 2025. 

Motorists traveling towards Gauteng from KwaZulu-Natal have been urged to approach the area with caution, as emergency personnel are currently on the scene.

 The Department of Transport and Human Settlements in KZN has allocated a team to locate the families of the victims whose lives have been altered by this tragedy. 

This horrific accident comes just days after an accident involving a truck and a light motor vehicle claimed five members of the same family and a truck driver.

All five are set to be laid to rest tomorrow.
