Following the success of the FARPost Cup in partnership with SAFA Capricorn Region, the tournament’s Vhembe edition was officially launched in Muledane, Limpopo this past weekend.

The tournament will feature four teams representing all the SAFA Vhembe LFA’s which are the Thulamela, Musina, Makhado and Collins Chabane LFA’s.

The publishing media company partnered with the two regions to hold a tournament that will help young upcoming players to be scouted by teams fast so that they can start their football careers.

“As SAFA Vhembe we are excited to partner with FARPost in enhancing the development of football in the region,” said SAFA Vhembe president Jabulani Ndobe.

“We are excited in the sense that it provides us with an opportunity to reach territories we couldn’t afford in exposing the talent to the wider community. In the same breath affording FARPost a platform in answering our football questions,” he said.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, 6 August. Venue to be confirmed in due course. On the day of the tourney, pop-up soccer clinics will be available, which will be conducted by football legends.

A coaching seminar will also be hosted on the Friday before the event conducted by renowned scout Walter Steenbok.
