The initiative, started by a supporter on X (formerly Twitter), gained traction within hours, with contributions steadily climbing.
The fundraiser has already surpassed âĴ4,394 (around R87,000), signalling strong backing from her fanbase.
Thandeka, who became a fan favourite during her time on the show, including her much-talked-about relationship with fellow housemate Mmeli, has continued to trend on social media, with many viewers insisting she deserved the win.
Supporters didnât hold back in rallying others to contribute, with one fan writing, âWe here, she must increase the amount to 3million target! I will do it over and over again!â
Another added, âThandeka deserves every penny. Letâs show her love by contributing massively.â
Others even did the math to encourage participation, with one post reading, âIf 4000 people contribute R500 each, Thandeka will have R2 million.â
