“She’s leaving. A gone girl. The offer was too good to resist and Power cannot at this point afford to counteroffer,” the source revealed.

Faith, who presently hosts Power FM’s midday show, will take over Ayabonga Cawe’s Metro FM Talk show from 7 to 9 p.m. Ayabonga is the author of The Economics At Your Doorstep and has been and is about to depart the station in search of a better job.

According to another source, “Ayabonga will be pursuing his first love, which is Economics, and is tired of the frivolous world of fame.”

“He is not about fame. He had a great time, but he wants to focus his energies on what he studied, Economics. He is an economist, columnist, radio presenter, photographer, and activist. His portfolio is diverse,” the source added.

A Faith source said, “Power considered a counteroffer, but she did not entertain it. But it’s not even about them affording to keep her.

“Metro has always been on Faith’s wish list. Given the vast difference in listenership at Metro, she would never turn down the offer. The bosses at Power are pissed.”
