Barely a week after joining the Springboks in New Zealand to play against the All Blacks, Faf de Klerk has posted pictures of a family vacation in Namibia.

The scrumhalf was called up in the squad for the two-match tour.

However, he was not named in either of Rassie Erasmus’s teams to for Auckland or Wellington..

De Klerk’s post came shortly after the team suffered a 24-17 loss to their arch-rivals at Eden Park.

Over the weekend, Faf de Klerk posted a series of pictures of his recent family vacation in Namibia.

The blonde star was joined by his wife, Miné, and their daughter Remi-Ré.

Miné is pregnant with the couple’s second child, another daughter, who is due to be born in November.

“Sossusvlei with my crew”, he captioned the images of the family frolicking in the sand dunes.

NO SHOW IN NEW ZEALAND

Faf de Klerk last played for the Springboks in their games against Italy and Georgia in mid-year.

However, he initially failed to make the travelling team to New Zealand.

SA Rugby then announced that he had been given a late call-up to join the Boks on their New Zealand tour.

Faf de Klerk was not been named in the squad to play the All Blacks again at the Sky Stadium on Saturday, 13 September.
