Expresso Show’s Ryle de Morny ties the knot in beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony

First came “yes” then came “I do” as Expresso Show presenter Ryle De Morny wedded his beautiful wife Mel Corbett in the great outdoors of Cape Town.

Since joining one of the country’s biggest breakfast shows, the bubbly personality that is Ryle has done an outstanding job at keeping viewers of the show glued to their television screens, eager to soak up their daily dose of news and entertainment.

Despite having earned himself tons of accolades along the way, some of which include being the fastest man on sand, as well as becoming an actor (Blood & Water), perhaps his most treasured title yet, is that of becoming a husband.

This weekend, he and long-time partner Mel officially took the first step to a “happily ever after” when they tied the knot in an outdoor cowboy-themed wedding ceremony hosted at Cherry Glamping in Elgin Valley, which is located approximately an hour outside of Cape Town. In attendance were several prominent faces including on-screen colleague Graeme Richard and Kings of Joburg star Nicole Bessick.

While the happy couple are still enjoying their well-deserved honeymoon, those in attendance gladly posted pictures of the festivities.

Captioning her post, Nicole wrote: “Last night I watched two souls promise forever under a sky full of stars…and it reminded me why love will always be the greatest story ever told.”

The two got engaged in April this year, when Ryle carefully planned a days’ worth of adventurous activities, while later convincing Mel that he had to capture some video content for a specific brand. After completing a series of activities which included a scenic walk, some time in nature, and a hike up their favourite trail, the Twelve Apostles was where he ended up popping the big question.

He captioned his post, “She said yes! – Here is to forever.”
