Exclusive CCTV footage shows the moments leading to the fatal shooting of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock in Johannesburg’s CBD on December 16.

The video shows Stock, wearing a black t-shirt, exiting Zambesi House with an unidentified man. He was assisting contractors installing a biometric system in the building’s foyer. According to the investigating officer, Stock briefly entered his Audi Q7 parked nearby, spoke on his phone, then began walking back toward the building.

About 54 seconds later, people are seen ducking for cover as the alleged shooter, dressed in a green t-shirt, blue floral shorts, and a cap, opens fire. Stock was shot five times.

The footage then shows the gunman picking up an item from the ground—believed to be the keys to Stock’s Audi, which were never recovered. An accomplice is seen retrieving two bags near street vendors; one is a dark yellow gift bag that reportedly concealed the firearm.

Both suspects then walk calmly toward Fox Street. The CCTV is part of the evidence in the ongoing murder investigation.
