Rather than continue with Scandal, Gcina Nkosi is switching to Generations: The Legacy. She’ll be saying goodbye to Zinzile and passing the mic to Generations. There have been rumors that Gcina Nkosi, a well-known actress, has joined the cast of Generations The Legacy.

There appears to have been another mass departure from the e.tv drama series. The actress will make her debut in the January 2023 episode of the SABC 1s drama series, according to reliable sources.

The specifics of her on-screen role and duration of appearance are, however, currently unknown. The gossip mill has since put two and two together and informed Mzansi that the actress has switched teams. According to multiple reports, she has already begun filming her parts.

It’s interesting to note that the rumor of her departure from Scandal comes so soon after that of Lindiwe Ngema’s Nomvelo Makhanya, her on-screen daughter. The departure of Lindiwe has apparently convinced her to leave the drama series. Several sources say we can ignore her account.

Mlungisi’s wife, played by Scandal’s Zinzile, is a famous actress. Mlungusi, though, left after only a few months and is now starring in a different drama series. Now that Mvelo has disclosed the alleged shenanigans behind the scenes at Scandal, it appears like things are heating up.

The actress said that she would have committed herself if the atmosphere at work had been any more hostile. It’s possible that Lindiwe is telling the truth. The drama series has been called poisonous on multiple occasions in recent history. Star Romeo Medupe, Hungani Ndlovu, abruptly left the drama series.

Actress Zinzile ‘Gcina Nkosi of Scandal is due to make her debut on Generations: The Legacy, but rumors have circulated that he has fallen out of favor with the show’s creators and producers on issues ranging from the working environment to salary. Nomvelo Makhanya recently commented on the drama series after her departure. She has taken to social media to spread the word that:

The smoke has been drifting directly toward me, and I’m the one who’s been inhaling it all: No, gentlemen, I didn’t make that decision. They gave up on me, that much is true… But I swear to you, it was all part of God’s master plan.

I’ve been asking God for… Away from that establishment, please… This was something I had prayed for a long time, and its realization felt like God’s way of rescuing me from a dangerous situation.

However, the drama series has issued a lengthy press statement in response to her charges, clarifying the circumstances of her departure.

“No one on E.tv’s Scandal crew realized the set had become an unsafe place for the actor or any other cast member to work. We’ve always made it clear to our actors and crew that they may come to us with any problem or concern, whether it’s related to their work or their personal lives. From what we can see, Nomvelo Makhanya gave a solid performance as Lindiwe Maseko- Ngema for a whole decade, and we much admire her dedication to the role.

The story required that Lindiwe Maseko – Ngema leave the show; the character had served her purpose, and the show’s creators and writers had concluded her arc. When an actor like Nomvelo Makhanya’s character ages up on screen, it’s sad for the production as a whole, but it also opens up possibilities for future storylines and roles for the remaining cast members.
