Eskom says power cuts will be reduced to Stage 3 from 9 pm on Thursday until 5 am on Friday.
Stage 2 blackouts will then be implemented until 5 am on Monday.
Eskom says emergency generation reserves have sufficiently improved to permit a reduction in the blackout stages.
Loadshedding will be reduced to Stage 3 from 21:00 tonight until 05:00 on Friday. Thereafter Stage 2 will be implemented until 05:00 on Monday, as previously
