Eskom has announced that Stage 2blackouts will return from Monday until Wednesday.
The blackouts will take place between 4 pm and midnight.
The power utility suspended blackouts for the first time in 32 days on Saturday morning.
However, Eskom says it needs to replenish emergency generation reserves and blackouts are the only way to do this.
The utility says it will try and limit the blackouts during the evening peaks only.
