Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral has given Ghana no chance to get out of their group at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana are in Group H with Christiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, Luis Suarez’s Uruguay and Korea Republic.

Ertugral gave his predictions for the global showpiece starting on Sunday and ending on 18 December 2022 in the 80th edition of iDiski Times.

The former Turkey national team Technical Director is expected to be in Qatar as a member of the FIFA Technical Study Group. He believes that Portugal may reach the quarter-finals, that Korea will be a surprise package, however, gave nothing to the Black Stars.

“Portugal is an interesting team. It was always a one-man show, years ago, in which they had always unbelievable great talents and players, but do they have the capacity to reach a certain level. I probably see them in the quarter-finals, but not over, there’s not enough in this team,” he said.

“For me Ghana have got no chance in this group, no chance.

“Uruguay maybe. Korea is interesting. They have in the last few years always starting Kim Min-jae, who played for Fernebache and now plays for Napoli. He is a great, great defender and they have many of them.

“So Korea could be a surprise in the end there.”

You can read Ertugral’s predictions on the other groups in edition 80 of iDiski Times which is out now.
