Era By DJ Zinhle to close Sandton store, announces new location

Era By DJ Zinhle is set to close the doors of its Sandton store after three years in operation. The official closure date is 20 June 2025.
However, the brand is far from slowing down. In exciting news for fans and customers, Era By DJ Zinhle will be opening a brand-new store at Highveld Mall this July.
Founded in 2012, DJ Zinhle’s lifestyle and accessories brand has grown significantly over the years.
Among its milestones was the launch of the Era Vision line of sunglasses in 2020 and the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store at Mall of Africa on 1 September 2021.
Earlier this year, DJ Zinhle joined The Best T in the City as part of the station’s celebrity takeover series, temporarily stepping in for Tbose while he was on leave.
After her hosting stint, she sat down with us to talk about motherhood, fashion, and her ambitions for Era By DJ Zinhle.
During the interview, she confirmed that the brand had plans to expand to new locations and hinted at exciting product developments.
“We’re currently working on a big branding exercise to increase visibility and grow the brand further,” Zinhle said.
She also revealed that they are exploring “more fun product offerings” to keep the range fresh and engaging.
