Enhle Mbali’s marriage to Black Coffee under scrutiny after court judgment surfaces

Enhle Mbali allegedly married Black Coffee because of his money

Actress and fashion designer Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has once again found herself at the center of public debate after a recent report claimed she married Grammy-winning DJ Black Coffee because of his wealth.

According to Sunday World, the claim emerged in a Johannesburg High Court judgment following the couple’s finalized divorce.

The report suggested that Enhle was allegedly drawn to Black Coffee’s millionaire status and had reportedly convinced her family to bless the union for that reason.

The judgment also revealed personal details about their relationship, including when they met, how their romance began, and the amount of lobola paid.

It was stated that Black Coffee paid R70,000 in installments and followed all the traditional marriage customs.

This comes shortly after Enhle announced on 10 October 2025 that her divorce from Black Coffee was officially finalized and that she had reverted to her maiden name.

The court reportedly ruled in her favor, with the DJ ordered to pay R25,000 per child in maintenance, along with spousal support.

However, many of Enhle’s supporters have strongly rejected the report’s claims, insisting that she had been with Black Coffee long before he became a global star.

One user wrote, “But Black Coffee was not a millionaire when they married. You guys are too forward, and are pushing this propaganda.”

Another added, “You people manufacture your imaginary opinions and make yourself believe it’s FACTS.”
