
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has filed a case against National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula for assault and sexual assault.
This comes after members of Parliament claimed they were sexually assaulted during their removal from the National Assembly this week.

This comes after a chaotic session in which some red berets were thrown out of the chambers after refusing to be addressed by Ramaphosa during the debate on the presidency’s budget vote.
According to the party’s spokesperson, Leigh-Ann Mathys, Mapisa-Nqakula used brute force to shield Ramaphosa from scrutiny and accountability.
