Former Big Brother Mzansi housemate and one of the four redemption housemates, Mpendulo Dube, has shared that he is proud of himself for making it this far.

Hailing from KwaZulu Natal, Dube was one of the candidates that did not make it to the house in 2025. With the Bazozwa edition this year, where Big Brother allowed four housemates from past seasons to redeem themselves, Dube was granted a second chance alongside Liema and Bravo B from Big Brother Umlilo, as well as Mmeli from Big Brother Titans.

The 22-year-old, who is best known for his interest in digital arts and his connection with fellow housemate Kokii, recently sat down with BONA to iron out a few things.

Dube shared that he was shocked to learn that his time in the house had come to an end.

“The one thing that came to my mind was, did he really say my name; and the second thing that came to my mind was the way he said my name, I could tell he was shocked. He read my name to himself. So for me, it was the end of the journey, it is what it is so I hugged and left.”

Dube shared that he treated this opportunity as his first time in the house, because the last time he was a candidate and did not stay in the house. He also shared that he believes Thandeka might win the show.

“I think Thandeka will take the ultimate prize, because no one in the house can push her past her own limits. She can only push her self beyond her limits, whereby she can push herself past her limits, make other people feel uncomfortable,” said Dube.

Dube further shared that he will go back to school and focus on his degree, as well as content creation. He also highlighted that he is working to inspire others.
