Drake says he isn’t married because it’s an ‘ancient’ practice

Multi-award winning American rapper Drake — real name Aubrey Graham — is a well known playboy who has had multiple relationships with many well known US celebrities. The hitmaker recently opened up about relationships and his thoughts on marriage. According to him, the practice is “ancient”.

He also added that he doesn’t think that he could give a woman what they need since he focuses so much on his life and work.

American musician Drake is one of the biggest artists of this generation. Over the years, he has reached superstar status with a number of hit albums and award-winning body of works.

In this time, he has also dated stars like Rihanna, Jorja Smith and the mother of his only child, former actress Sophie Brussaux.

While his relationship with Rihanna seemed promising, things didn’t work out for the pair much to their fans millions of fans.

Marriage, an ancient practice?

And now Drake as opened up about relationships and marriage. According to the Hotline Bling hitmaker who appeared on The Really Good Podcast with Bobbi Althoff, marriage is an ancient practice.

“I don’t know. It seems like a thing of, like, ancient times or something. I think I will eventually,” he said.

He also added that at the moment, he doesn’t think he can offer the right woman everything she needs consistently because he is hyper focused on his life and work.

“I don’t know, I don’t think I can offer somebody what they’d be looking for. Just consistency. I think my life, my work is my priority,” he said according to a PageSix article.
