The late Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world,” and it appears that Dr Musa Mthombeni took those words to heart.

The renowned medical doctor and media personality has recently levelled up his education status by pursuing yet another degree. This week, he took to social media where he officially announced himself as a Master of Medicine graduate.

Taking to Instagram, the husband of former Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie, shared a gallery of pictures sharing the proud experience with close relatives.

Captioning his post, he wrote: “10 Years later, back on the Wits stage once again! Masters Daddies are up! If you hear me saying I’m studying something else again, ningshaye!”

“My enemies have been admitted to the ICU because at this point, they’re sick of me. Luckily, I have a year’s supply of banana flavour mageu ready for them. Bazoba, right shame! Bazoba strong!”

The Mthombenis are renowned for their exotic international trips and adventurous nature. However, their desire to constantly equip themselves and expand their education has long been what the public admired most about the loving pair.

After graduating from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa last year, the former YoTV presenter penned a loving message to his wife, thanking her for her unwavering support.

“To the lady of my dreams who was there when the dream became a reality. For all the hours spent away from you whilst studying. For all the meals you prepared whilst I was sweating in the study room. For all the long nights I’d come to bed at 4am and mistakenly wake you up. For all this and more, thank you my baby. I love you always.”
