Former politician and radio host, Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, has now hopped into the music scene as he releases his first music album of Amagwijo, titled Usizi.

After his fallout with the Julius Malema- led political party, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), he joined PowerFM as a radio host. Recently, he announced that he is now venturing in music, and has released his first album.

Mbuyiseni has showed a glimpse of his musical talent during his time as a politician, when he sang a birthday song for former president, Thabo Mbeki.

Taking to his social media platforms, he said: “Amagwijo dropping on Wednesday, midnight 00:00. Excited to share with you. Keeping the bonfire burning. I’ve always loved singing with/for you guys! So… enjoy!”

He also shared when he visited Mac G and Sol Phenduka on Podcast and Chill that he has already produced three gospel songs. “We’re contributing three songs to one of the gospel artists. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to speak about this, but we are producing three songs,” said Mbuyiseni.

He also shared that he cannot play any instrument yet, but he is learning piano.

The internet users weighed in:

Hebanna, who knew that you were working on an entire album, apart from your wife and producer of course?

Well done, Doc. This is something to look forward to after Mogotsi’s testimony.
