Cassper Nyovest has hit the gym running after he was fat-shamed by social media users following his appearance at the Scorpion Kings concert last month.

CASSPER NYOVEST REACTS TO BEING FAT-SHAMED

Last week, a clip of Cassper Nyovest taking to the stage at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium at the Scorpion Kings concert went viral.

Social media users commented about the rapper’s apparent weight gain.

Responding to the fat-shaming jibes, Cassper said in a video post: “The comments were harsh and hurt my feelings. But sometimes that’s what you need – a little push.

“It is a projection of how you feel about yourself by body-shaming me. You don’t know what I’m going through. I’m going to take the lemons and turn them into lemonade.

The 34-year-old revealed that he had returned to training and had taken up cardio to lose weight quickly.

FILLING UP TOYOTA STADIUM

Whilst addressing his social media followers, Cassper Nyovest revealed his plans to “fill up” the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein for his upcoming concert on 6 December.

The star has previously performed to sold-out audiences at the following venues.

  • Ticketpro Dome (2015)
  • Orlando Stadium (2016)
  • FNB Stadium (2017)
  • Moses Mabhida Stadium (2018)
  • Royal Bafokeng Stadium (2019)
