Dolly Bids Farewell To Amakhosi Stars

Kaizer Chiefs winger Keagan Dolly has sent a farewell message to his colleagues, who are set to be released by the club.

 

Amakhosi announced that the contracts of seven players will not be extended, while Anthony Agay was placed on the transfer-list.

Samir Nurkovic, Lazalous Kambole, Lebogang Manyama, Kearyn Baccus, Leonardo Castro, Daniel Akpeyi and Daniel Cardoso will all leave as free agents, while the club also parted ways with goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter.

Dolly, who shared just one season with his his teammates after joining the Glamour Boys ahead of 2021/22, has said his goodbyes to the “big players”.

“All the best at your endeavors big players. It was a honor to share a locker-room with you guys, you are really top human beings. #amakhosi4life” he wrote.

The 29-year-old himself made 28 appearances for Kaizer Chiefs in his debut season, scoring eight goals and setting up another five.

However, he missed the final two games of the campaign due to an injury, which has also ruled him out of the upcoming Bafana Bafana games.
