Dladla Mshunqisi Leaves DJ Tira’s Afrotainment To Launch Own Record Label
News has emerged regarding Dladla Mshunqisi indicating that he is venturing out on his own following an interview he had with the Zulu based newspaper.
Mshunqisi, who is celebrating 10 years in the Gqom music industry, states that he is now mature and strong enough to take full control of his own career.
Dladla built his fame through hit songs including Omunye, on which he was featured by Distruction Boyz, Amalukuluku, and several others.
He revealed that he has parted ways with DJ Tira’s record label, Afrotainment, where he used to record.
In an exclusive interview, he disclosed that he will soon make an official announcement regarding his new company, Mshunqo Records.
When asked about his relationship with DJ Tira, he said: “It is good. I mean, it is good on my side and I still respect him. He is someone I can say played a significant role in helping me mature and grow strong in this industry. There is nothing bad I can say, but I have grown, which is why I am saying it is now time.”
He promised his fans that he will be releasing a lot of new music.
He mentioned that one of the tracks will be released jointly with Beast, whom he previously collaborated with on the chart-topping hit song Pukupuku.
