DJ Speedsta and K.Keed clash over freestyle challenge

A recent exchange between DJ Speedsta and rapper K.Keed has stirred up conversation in the local hip-hop community.

During an interview, Speedsta threw down an impromptu challenge, asking K.Keed to drop a freestyle, a move often considered a true test of skill in rap.

The rapper politely refused, simply saying, “Let’s not do that,” prompting Speedsta to question, “How come rappers in 2025 don’t want to freestyle?”

The moment quickly made its way online, sparking mixed reactions.

Some viewers dismissed it as lighthearted, while others felt it unfairly pressured K.Keed to prove herself in a way that doesn’t necessarily align with her artistry.

Addressing the incident, K.Keed took to social media with a sharp caption: “I hope the click bait was worth it. DJ Speedsta Happy Women’s Month to you too.”

She paired the post with a teaser of her upcoming track Harsh Truths, set to appear on the deluxe edition of her next project.

Speedsta didn’t let it slide, reposting her message on X and firing back with, “You’re definitely dizzy! Click bait?” followed by a laughing emoji.
