The drama continues. DJ Sithelo Shozi turns to the courts for a protection order against Andile Mpisane. The two have been making headlines lately with their relationship drama. It seems as if wonders never cease to amaze when it comes to DJ Sithelo Shozi and baby daddy Andile Mpisane. Shozi is heading to the Durban Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 7 December, to have a protection order against “baby daddy” Andile Mpisane permanently granted.

The two used to live together up until things turned south. However, in the mix of things, they made headlines for the wrong reasons when they took social media jabs against each other. Against the backdrop of these social media woes, Sithelo went on to reveal that she has been abused and threatened by Andile. Celebrated business mogul Shauwn Mkhize who happens to be Andile’s mother, was also implicated in the mix.

Of interest is that Andile is the father of the influencer’s two daughters – Flo and Coco. Despite serving Mzansi with couple goals, their slit left Mzansi awestruck. Their split came more bizarrely. Andile announced his marriage to Tamia on 17 December 2021. This was because fans thought he was in a relationship with the DJ. In August, the influencer has since accused Andile of physically abusing her.

So, she is seeking a protection order against him. According to Tshisa Live, her lawyer Mabu Marweshe said the protection order brought by Sithelo is for Andile to refrain from calling and abusing her. However, the protection order is said to be “very deep”.

“Our instruction for tomorrow is to have the protection order permanently granted. We will proceed from there further as this is not only about the calls from Mr Mpisane but very deep. We will inform you later as to how we will be proceeding,” said Mabu.

Of late, the rumour mill has it that Sithelo has been receiving threats from an unknown number.

“Sithelo is in high spirits, and she is fighting for her rights. She has been getting threats in text messages lately from an unknown number. We can only suspect one person but can’t say who it is. Women are abused, and the law has been created for them to be protected. GBV is a very serious matter,” said Mabu to the publication.
