The meaning behind the song
Set to release on 25 July 2026, Lenyora, real name Lebogang Matabane, said the song is inspired by his journey from transitioning from a road manager to an MC, DJ/producer, and singer. The song hints at giving his life away to the amapiano genre and saving it for future generations.
Speaking on his experience creating Sosha Nendlu, Lenyora, who has worked with DJ Stokie, Kabza De Small, Mellow & Sleazy, and more on various tracks, shared that he had enjoyed his time in the studio. He noted that he was prepared to learn from those considered long in the game while also sharing his own experiences.
“I also wanted to work with people who understand the type of music I like in terms of style, and most of my music is for the streets, but I’m willing to learn to make good music as well.”
