DJ Karri helps Tebogo Mashego

DJ Karri has stepped in to assist rising star Tebogo Mashego after reports surfaced that the Biri Marung hitmaker was stranded in Nigeria.

On Friday, news of Mashego’s situation went viral, with social media users split between sympathy and mockery.

Many tagged DJ Karri in their posts, urging him to help.

Responding on Facebook, Karri shared that he had been trying to get in touch with Mashego.

“I see a lot of you are tagging me on what’s happening to Tebogo G Mashego being in Nigeria, I’ve been trying to get hold of him with no luck, even Lee Jay’s daughter texted me. I will keep on trying,” he wrote.

A few hours later, Karri confirmed that he had finally managed to reach the musician.

He revealed that he had assisted Mashego with a flight back to South Africa and even shared screenshots of their conversations as proof.

“Public alert. Finally my boy got a flight ticket back home, he’s leaving Nigeria today at 13:25,” he announced.

Fans quickly praised Karri for his generosity and support, thanking him for stepping in to help the young artist during his time of need.
