Diddy denied bail

Sean “Diddy” Combs will stay in jail until his sentencing date on 3 October 2025, despite being cleared of the most serious charges in his high-profile trial.

The music icon was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking allegations but was found guilty of two lesser charges involving the transport of women, including singer Cassie Ventura, for sexual acts.

According to reports, Diddy’s legal team pushed for his immediate release following the partial acquittal, but the judge denied the request.

TMZ reports that the charges could land him behind bars for anywhere between five to twenty years.

Social media has been split over the judge’s decision to keep the rapper detained. While some feel it’s unjust given the acquittals, others argue that his status and resources justify tighter restrictions.
