Delicious Festival announces new era ahead of 2026 event

The Delicious International Food and Music Festival has officially announced the end of its long-standing partnership with DStv.

In a statement released by the festival, organisers expressed gratitude to DStv for more than a decade of support, saying the broadcaster played a key role in the festival’s growth and success.

“The Delicious International Food and Music Festival would like to extend sincere thanks to DStv for 12 incredible years as our headline sponsor. Their support has played a meaningful role in shaping the festival into one of South Africa’s most loved lifestyle events,” the statement read.

As the partnership comes to an end, the festival confirmed it is entering a new phase, reassuring fans that the event remains independently owned and committed to maintaining its high standards.

“As this valued partnership comes to a close, we are excited to step into a new chapter,” organisers said.

They further emphasised the festival’s longevity and vision, adding, “The Delicious Festival remains an independently owned and produced event, built to evolve and built to last.”

Known for blending top-tier music performances with curated food experiences, the festival promised that attendees can still expect the same quality.

Organisers reiterated their commitment to delivering “world-class music, exceptional food, and rich cultural experiences” that audiences have come to associate with the brand.

Looking ahead, the festival confirmed its 2026 return, urging fans to mark their calendars.

The next edition is set to take place over Heritage Weekend on 19 and 20 September at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

With anticipation already building, organisers teased upcoming announcements, including what they described as “the hottest two-day line-up you won’t want to miss,” signalling that despite the end of a major sponsorship era, the festival is gearing up for an exciting new chapter.
